In Rotterdam Delfshaven, location "Vierhavenstrip",  a unique project is under development. Where an old railway road used to be, a new business park is being built with on top of that a rooftop garden. The rooftop garden is outstanding because of its enormous dimensions: 1 kilometer in lenght, 80 metres width.
 

The park has to be a nice, well-maintained and often-used space with lots of green, within arms-length of the surrounding neighbourhoods with some gastronomic facilities, theme gardens and play facilities for children. The park will be reachable through different steps and there will be a lift as well.

The main part of the rootop garden will be realised using the Nophadrain intensive green roof system. In the next weeks the drainage composites are being delivered and installed. We will keep you updated with the progress of this project.
