Retaining walls may be needed in a nicely laid out garden, but also on a green roof, a podium or parking deck. With its GreenGabion system, Nophadrain supplies an innovative gabion system in order to build retaining walls in a simple and natural manner.

GreenGabion gabions can be placed in straight lines, but they are also ideal for creating curved forms. These gabions are supplied in the so-called ‘wink shape’ to allow them to be placed next to one another in many different layouts.

Attributes of the GreenGabion system are:

  • Lightweight and compact
  • Material: galvanized steel
  • Simple to fill and install 
  •  Can be filled with granule size ≥ Ø 16 – 32
  • Available in three heights: 50, 100 and 150 cm
  • Simple to build a retaining wall with a height difference.
